(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Monday July 07, 2014 shortly after 7 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an erratic driver operating a Jeep Wrangler south bound on Hwy 23 north of Monkton.
The Jeep was located a short time later on Hwy 23 north of Bornholm. The male driver of the Jeep displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The driver was transported to the Perth County OPP Detachment in Sebringville where he was evaluated by an OPP Drug Recognition Expert, who determined that the male was impaired by drug.
Alan PERRY (48) of Southwest Middlesex, has been charged with the criminal code offence of “driving while ability impairedâ€Â. He is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on August 25, 2014 to answer to this charge.
