(CITY OF GUELPH, ON) -On July 8, 2014 at approximately 4:58 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was monitoring speeds on Highway 6 near Laird Road, Guelph. A 2014 Dodge was observed travelling northbound well above the posted speed limit of 80 km/h.
The officer locked the female driver on radar at 136 km/h.
Her driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Kenthirathevy ARULRASA age 47 of Markham is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. She is to appear in Guelph Court on August 6, 2014 to answer to the charge.
