(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) -A Break and Enter occurred to a Harriston residence sometime between July 5 and July 6, 2014. Antique coins, jewelry, photos and housewares were stolen. An investigation by Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and the Street Crime Unit (SCU) led to a search warrant being obtained for a Harriston apartment. On July 8 at approximately 6:45 a.m., patrol officers; SCU and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant and recovered a majority of the stolen items. During the search of the apartment suspected marijuana was located.
Tyler GEIGER age 29 of Harriston is charged with;
Break and Enter to a residence-Criminal Code (C.C.)
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x 2-C.C.
Possession of Marijuana-Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
He is scheduled to appear in bail court in Guelph on July 9, 2014.
