(PUSLINCH, TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 10, 2014 at approximately 9:40 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Service (EMS) responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision in the Township of Puslinch.
A Dodge Caravan collided with a Mazda 3 at Maltby Road and Watson Road, Puslinch Twp. Ont. The male driver (32) of the Mazda 3 sustained critical injuries and was transported by land to a local hospital then later transported by air ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital. The female driver (39) of the Dodge Caravan sustained minor injuries and was transported by Guelph-Wellington EMS to a local hospital for treatment of these injuries. Three passengers travelling in the Dodge Caravan also sustained minor injuries.
Wellington County OPP is being assisted in the investigation by the Wellington County OPP Technical Collision Investigators (TCI). Maltby Road is currently closed at Victoria Road and at Concession 11 and Watson Road is closed at Wellington County Road 34 and also at Hume Road while the investigation takes place.
