A south end resident contacted police when she woke to find that someone had broken into her home and car overnight. She noticed a back window open and the screen removed as well as the truck of her car open.
When police attended to investigate, they found some stolen property in a nearby park. Upon speaking with 2 people in the park, police found more stolen property and arrested a male and female young offenders.
The pair were charged with break and enter to commit theft, possession of stolen property and the male was charged with numerous breaches of court and probation orders.
