(NAPANEE, ON) – On July 14, 2014 at approximately 1:26AM, officers of the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a fatal crash on Highway 401, eastbound at mile marker 582.
Two (2) tractor trailers and a vehicle collided, killing the driver and passenger in the passenger vehicle.
OPP Reconstructionists, Traffic Collision Investigators and Forensic Identifications Services Unit are at the scene to assist Napanee officers in determining the cause of the crash.
Highway 401 eastbound remains closed. Please follow Emergency Detour Routes (EDR).
The investigation is continuing.
