(ADJALA-TOSORONTIO TOWNSHIP)- On July 11, 2014, the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant at a residence on Pipers Hill Road in the Township of Adjala-Tosorontio.
The Nottawasaga Street Crime Unit along with members of the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and members of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) made entry into the residence and seized a firearm and illegal drugs.
Charged is 60 year old Adjala-Tosorontio resident, Liam FLOYD, he is charged with the following:
Unauthorized possession of a firearm, Criminal Code of Canada
Careless storage of a firearm, Criminal Code of Canada
Production of a Schedule II substance (cannabis marihuana), Controlled Drug and Substances Act.
The male will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on August 21, 2014 to answer to these charges.
