(HURON TWP, ON) – On July 30th, 2011 at 11:33 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Lake Range Drive noticed a fast moving Ford Focus on Concession 8 in Huron Township. The vehicle failed to stop for a stop sign, and then continued on at a high rate of speed along Lake Range Drive. The Focus speed of 127 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone was locked on radar. The vehicle was stopped and the 17 year old driver was charged with Fail to stop for stop sign and Racing a motor vehicle.
