(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Marine and Trails Unit (MTU) would like to advise the public to use caution while travelling in the area of French Portage Narrows on Lake of the Woods. At this time, French Portage Narrows may be blocked by a mud bog. The bog is approximately 80 metres X 80 metres in diameter. The OPP is reminding with the high water and wind conditions, bogs have been breaking off and may affect your travels.
