(THUNDER BAY, ON) Recently, there have been several thefts reported to officers at the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Between June 28, 2014 and July 10, 2014, unknown suspect(s) broke into a shed on Forbes Centre Road in Forbes Township and stole a John Deere riding lawn mower. The lawn mower is a 1980’s style, green and yellow in colour with a bright blue seat.
Between July 12 and July 14, a Mobile Radar Speed Indicator Sign and Trailer were stolen from Lakeshore Drive between Spruce River Road and North Star Road in the Municipality of Shuniah. The trailer was attached to a hydro pole with a padlock and chain. The sign and trailer are valued at $15,200.
Between July 12 and July 15, a 1989 Mercury outboard boat motor was stolen from a camp at Lake Lenore Road in Neebing.
