Speeding Motorist Charged with Impaired Driving

On July 17th, 2014 at approximately 12:30am, Peterborough County OPP were conducting routine radar patrol on Highway 7 in the Township of Asphodel-Norwood. Officers observed a motor vehicle traveling above the posted 80 km/h speed limit. The vehicle was stopped and a subsequent investigation resulted in the following:
