The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a theft investigation.
Yesterday morning, police responded to a residence on Stanley Street in Chatham in regards to a theft. The homeowner reported that sometime overnight, unknown suspect(s) stole his Snow Tech snow blower.
A couple hours later, the snow blower was located outside the Kent Motel on Grand Avenue East. Through investigation, police determined who was in possession of the stolen item.
A 29-year-old Chatham man has been charged with possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
