(RED LAKE, ON) – On July 6th, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m. an officer from the Red Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was on patrol in Balmertown, Ontario when they observed a motor vehicle driving erratically. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Pine Road and determined that the driver had consumed alcohol.
As a result of the investigation Michael BENNETT, age 25 years old of Balmertown, Ontario was charged with driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood contrary to section 253(1) (b) of the Criminal Code.
