On Saturday July 19th, 2014 at approximately 6:45am two males attended Tim Horton’s located at 80 Bradford Street, Barrie. The males placed an order before telling the clerk to open the till. The clerk fled to the back while one male grabbed the Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation donation box and fled on foot.
Investigators identified one of the suspects captured on video surveillance and a warrant was obtained to arrest the 28 year old man of no fixed address.
Today, at 7:38am Barrie Police Service located this wanted man downtown. The male was arrested for Robbery and Theft. He was held for bail.
The second suspect is still outstanding. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’9†tall, thin build, wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants and black running shoes. Anybody with information can contact Det/Cst. Nicolle #7073 of the Barrie Police Service.
