Barrie Police responded to a failed to remain accident on Essa Rd were the suspect vehicle was seen leaving n/b on Essa Rd. An off duty officer was on Caroline St and noticed a heavily damage vehicle had stopped. When the officer identified himself the male attempted to run from the scene. The 32 yr old Barrie male was arrested for failing to remain and upon a search of the vehicle it was determined that he was in possession of heroine and cocaine. The male was charged with the additional drug charges and he was also a suspended driver. The male was held for a bail hearing to answer to the above mentioned charges.
