(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A 13 year old boy remains in hospital with serious injuries following a dirt bike collision last night. At approximately 7:30 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and Huron County EMS responded to a call for assistance involving a young dirt bike driver lying on the side of the road on Elimville Line.
The 13 year old driver from South Huron was transported to hospital in London with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) investigators attended the scene to help investigate the cause of the collision. Preliminary investigation indicates the rider lost control of his dirt bike and fell onto the roadway causing his injuries.
