(Napanee, ON) – The Napanee Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at 02:42 a.m. on the 22 of July 2014. The vehicle had just left the complainants driveway minutes before the call to the OPP. The vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Westbury Ave, in Bath Ontario. The stolen vehicle was a 2005 Dodge Caravan, beige in color and was last seen headed towards Bath Rd. The stolen vehicle was found a short time later in the area of Cty Rd 4 and Bath Rd.
The OPP Canine Unit and members from the OPP Emergency Response Team attended and assisted with the investigation.
As a result, a 15 year old male of Kingston is charged with Theft of a Motor Vehicle and is to appear Napanee Youth Court on the 11th of August 2014.
