(Ottawa, ON) -The Ottawa Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision.
At approximately 7:15 pm, a collision occurred on Old Highway 17 near Thomas Elliot Drive, east of Arnprior. The collision occurred between a car and a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle died as of result of the collision and the driver of the car was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Old Highway 17 is closed between County Road 29 and Kinburn Side Road.
The collision is under investigation and the OPP is asking anyone who may have any information about this incident to contact the OPP at 613-270-9171.
