(Prince Edward County, ON) On July 24, 2014 at 3:07am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment were called to a County Road 10 residence near Milford regarding a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle in question was parked on the front lawn of a residence. Police attended and spoke with the driver who appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
53-year old Mark CANTANIA of Milford, ON is charged with Care or Control While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada and Care or Control Over 80mgs. of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on August 13, 2014.
