(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) On July 24, 2014 around 9:00 p.m. Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to Highway 40 just north of Plank Road in reference to a propane tanker truck fire.
The driver of the truck was able to control what appeared to be a fire in the brakes, however, Sarnia Fire Service also attended and the situation was easily controlled.
The loaded tanker was towed from the scene and the north bound traffic was allowed to flow again after about a half hour closure.
No injuries are being reported.
