(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 25th, 2014 at approximately 4:00 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Clearview Fire Department and the Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to single motor vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer that was carrying a load of 10’ 6×6 lumbers on County Road #9 between County Road #124 and Concession #10 Nottawasaga.
An initial OPP investigation revealed that the above tractor trailer was eastbound on County Road #9 when it lost control navigating a curve in the road. This cause the trailer to roll and its load to spill over the roadway.
The operator of this motor vehicle a 41 year old female was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Charged with “Careless Driving†is a 41 year old female from Emo, Ontario.
Police had a section of County Road #9 between County Road #124 and Concession 8 Nottawasaga closed for approximately 9 hours to aid in the investigation and cleanup of this collision.
