(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On July 25, 2014, just before 6:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 40 near Park Avenue East in Chatham.
The collision occurred when a Ford automobile, which was travelling southbound on Highway 40, struck the rear of a southbound International tractor trailer that was travelling ahead of it.
The male driver of the Ford, 39 year old William TAYLOR, from Chatham, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
