(POINT EDWARD, ON) On July 27, 2014 around 9:30 a.m. Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the Blue Water Bridge (BWB) port of entry, in regards to an American citizen in the custody of Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).
The OPP investigation showed that the female driver of a Mitsubishi motor vehicle had been directed by CBSA officers to the Secondary Inspection area at the BWB and it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages.
The driver, a 28 year old woman from Michigan, USA, was arrested and held for a Sarnia court bail hearing to answer to a charge of Failing to Provide a Breath Sample into an Approved Screening Device.
