(ARMOUR TWP, ON) On Saturday July 26, 2014, the Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a mischief call on Skyline Drive Armour Township. When OPP arrived at the residence, it was discovered that windows had been smashed, a glass door was broken and a male had been assaulted. Police arrested the home owner who subsequently assaulted the officer before he was arrested.
OPP charged Christopher BLUMREISINGER, 22 of Aurora Ontario with two counts of Possession of Marihuana and Psilocybin, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Assault Causing Bodily Harm and Assault Peace Officer, contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused was released from police custody and is to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge, Ontario on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
