(DRYDEN, ON) – On Monday, July 28, 2014 Hamilton Police Service advised that a male identified as 30-year-old Mark SALOIO from Hamilton, Ontario was missing and had not been seen or heard from since July 16, 2014.
At approximately 5:25pm July 31, 2014 officers with the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were requested by Ignace Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to attend Highway #17 east of Ignace at the Gulliver River Bridge to assist with a male who appeared to have been in the bush for several days.
Officers attended the location and recognized the male to be Mark SALOIO. He was subsequently transported from the scene by Ignace EMS.
The investigation is continuing and further information will be released as it becomes available.
