(KENORA, ON) Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) made a drug seizure in result of a traffic stop on Highway 17A on July 31, 2014 at approximately 9:30pm. The police investigation resulted in the arrest of the male driver and search of the vehicle. Police located approximately 5 pounds of marihuana in the vehicle. The drugs have an estimated street value of $10,000.
As a result of the investigation, James FAVOT, age 39 of Sioux Lookout has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Schedule II under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is to appear in court on September 16, 2014 to answer to the charges.
