(RENFREW, ON) – Renfrew officers of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) spent the night searching for two missing girls near Calabogie. The girls, aged 9 and 10 had been playing hide and seek and failed to return after the game.
The OPP attended the camping area the girls were staying at on Airds Lake Road in the Township of Greater Madawaska at 10:06pm. The OPP Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) and patrol officers spent the night searching the area. The OPP helicopter is on the way this morning to assist, as well as dayshift ERT team members and additional Canine Units.
