(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes and businesses.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is investigating an attempted Break and Enter at an Erie Boulevard, Long Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, August 2, 2014 at approximately 4:00 a.m., unknown suspects attended the Underlee Kool Arcade and Ice Cream Parlour and attempted to gain entry. Unknowns attempted to force open the front door however were unsuccessful. The suspects then attended the rear of the building and removed an aluminum screen causing approximately $200 dollars in damage however no entry was made.
Two suspects were captured on video surveillance prior to fleeing from that area.
The first suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 20 years of age, wearing a green t-shirt with an unidentified logo, black straight brim baseball hat and was wearing squared glasses.
The second suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 24 years of age, white t-shirt with facial hair.
