(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On August 2, 2014 at approximately 3:09 a.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was patrolling Brock Road South, near Gilmour Road, Puslinch Township. A male driving a 2000 Acura was observed travelling well above the posted speed limit. The vehicle was locked on radar travelling south bound at 118km/h in an 50 km/h zone.
His driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Charles THERON age 32 of Kitchener is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on September 17, 2014 to answer to the charge.
