The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a shoplifting complaint in Chatham.
Shortly after 1:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the woman entered Pharma Plus on McNaughton Avenue West. She took possession of cosmetic items and exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise. Police were contacted and officers located the woman on Sandys Street.
Angela Daly, 39 years, of Foster Street in Chatham has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000. She was released with conditions pending a future court date.
