(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On August 9, 2014 at approximately 9:25 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a male driving a 2006 Chevrolet on Elora Street near Mill Street, Harriston and observed some traffic violations. The vehicle stopped at a local business parking lot. Officers spoke with the driver and believed that he was impaired by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Arthur SNOW age 51 of Harriston is charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 22, 2014 to answer to the charge.
