(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding residents be vigilant after a theft was reported at a Cedar Drive, Turkey Point, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, August 9, 2014, at approximately 4:45 p.m.,, unknown suspects attended the Turkey Point Beach and removed a bag from the beach area while the owner was swimming in the water.
The bag contained a wallet with personal and financial information along with an iPhone 5C. Police are reminding all residents to never leave any items unattended for a short period of time and to keep property secured.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
