(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On August 11, 2014 at approximately 9:30 a.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a 2 vehicle crash involving a pick up truck and a car on Crossland Road just north of the intersection of Highway 92 in Springwater Township.
As a result of the crash, the male driver of the Honda Ridgeline pick up truck and the female driver of a Toyota Yaris were transported to Collingwood General Hospital and the 3 female passengers in the Yaris were transported to Georgian Bay General Hospital with non life threatening injuries. A female passenger was later transferred to a Toronto area hospital for further treatment of her injuries.
Drivers and passengers were all treated and transported from the scene by members of the Simcoe County Paramedic Service.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is still ongoing.
