(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) The Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Kirkland Lake Crime Unit, under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, Acting Detective Inspector Chris Loam, are investigating a sudden death at the Beaverhouse First Nation.
On Friday, August 8, 2014, at approximately 9:30 a.m., the Kirkland Lake OPP received a call to assist ambulance with a female party. Police arrived and discovered a female, Laura LANDRIAULT 50, of Kirkland Lake Ontario who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A post mortem was conducted on Monday, August 11, 2014 in Toronto at the Centre of Forensic Sciences. As a result of the post mortem, foul play is not suspected in this investigation.
