(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating an overnight retail robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect.
On August 11, 2014, at approximately 9:35 pm, a lone male suspect entered a gas station kiosk situated along the 1300 block Prince of Wales Drive near Dynes Road. Once inside, the suspect jumped the counter, pulled a bandana up over his face, and made a demand for money. The suspect took cash, a quantity of cigarettes, as well as the clerk’s cellular phone. The suspect was last seen running into the housing complex backing the gas station. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a male, olive skin, thin build, short dark hair, goatee, wearing dark a green fleece, blue jeans, white runners with a black Nike swoosh”
