During the afternoon of August 14, 2014 members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service Drug Branch executed a search warrant in relation to suspected illegal drug activity in Waterloo Region. As a result of the warrants a cannabis marihuana grow operation was discovered at 85 Saltsman Drive Cambridge and 832 plants were seized. A 37 year old Kitchener man was charged with Production of a Controlled Substance and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and was held for a showcause hearing.
