Arrest

Early on Monday morning the police were called to a Bayview Avenue residence for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival the officers were advised that a 24 year old women had been assaulted by her 32 year old common law husband. The women sustained minor facial and neck injuries, no medical was required. The police had been to the residence on Sunday evening for a verbal dispute. The female left the residence for the evening while the male remained at home drinking, when she retuned she was assaulted. He was arrested and charged with assault.
