(BURK’S FALLS, ON) The Almaguin Highlands Ontario Provincial Police is investigating an assault that occurred on Sunday August 17, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m., in the Village of Burk’s Falls, Ontario.
A local establishment was attempting to close for the evening, when several patrons refused to leave. When staff attempted to get the patrons to leave, a male, helping staff remove the patrons was assaulted.
Police arrested and charged two males, Ryan CUTRARA 23 of North Bay, Ontario with assault with a weapon, contrary to the Criminal Code and Mike THORNE 28 of Armour Township, Ontario
Both accused were released from police custody and are to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sundridge, Ontario on Thursday, October 9, 2014.
