OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT OF LOTTERY TICKETS

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment investigated an incident after being called to a Talbot Street East, Cayuga, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at approximately 1:38 a.m. an unknown male entered the Pioneer Gas Bar and proceeded to cover his face with a bandanna. The male immediately walked behind the counter and proceeded to remove a quantity of lottery tickets.

The male then exited the store and was last seen north bound on Munsee Street. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is being described as a white male, early 20’s, wearing a green plaid jacket, black pants, orange toque and black flip flop sandals.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
