(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is reminding residents to be as vigilant during the daytime hours as they are when the lights go out when it comes to protecting their homes and businesses.
The Haldimand County OPP Detachment is investigating a theft at a Haldimand Road 55, Walpole, Haldimand County, Ontario address.
On Monday, August 18, 2014 in the early morning hours unknown suspects attended the Haldimand County water filling station and proceeded to gain entry into a locked change machine located on the property. Once inside, unknowns removed a quantity of Canadian currency.
Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
