(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County Detachment responded to an incident after being contacted by an alert citizen at a Highway 3, Haldimand County, Ontario address
On Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at approximately 3:46 a.m., a suspicious pick-up truck was observed at the west end of the bridge that is currently under construction.
Through investigation it was determined that unknowns attended the location and removed the gas caps on some of the construction equipment however it does not appear that any fuel was removed from the machinery.
A vehicle was observed inside the construction area and is being described as a Ford pick-up truck. The truck fled from the area prior to police arrival.
The OPP want to remind all Haldimand County residents that if they observed anyone suspicious to contact the police immediately at 1-888-310-1122.
