(TOWN OF FERGUS, ON) – On August 20, 2014 at approximately 7:40 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence in Fergus. Upon police arrival a male party exited the apartment from a window and fell to a cement pad below resulting in injuries to himself.
The male party was transported by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to SIU Communications at (416) 622-2342.
