(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 2:02 a.m. on Wednesday August 20th 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Limerick Fire Department responded to the report of a structure fire on Weslemkoon Lake Road in Tudor-Cashel Township. The structure was identified as a house and it was vacant at the time of the fire.
The Bancroft OPP is continuing investigation into the fire with the assistance of the Office of the Fire Marshal.
