(NORTH BAY, ON) -On August 20, 2014 at approximately 1 47 p.m., North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 17, in the City of North Bay.
A van was eastbound on highway 17 when it stopped on the highway to turn left into the parking lot of Duchesney Falls. An eastbound car and a pick-up truck were stopping behind the van when an eastbound transport collided with the pick-up, car and van.
Three people were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the transport, Michel FELIX, age 54 from, St. Clet, Quebec, was charged with careless driving, contrary to section 130 of the Highway Traffic Act.
The North Bay Fire Department also responded to the collision.
