HOMEOWNER CALLS POLICE AFTER SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE OBSERVED IN DRIVEWAY OF RESIDENCE

(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment were contacted by an alert citizen after noticing a suspicious vehicle at a Salt Springs Church Road, Brant County, Ontario, address.

On Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at approximately 5:52 a.m., an alert homeowner observed a suspicious vehicle back into the driveway of their residence. Suspects were observed exiting the vehicle and entering an outbuilding located on the property.

The homeowner immediately went outside and observed the vehicle exiting the laneway with four suspects inside. The homeowner followed the vehicle into the Brantford City area at which time the vehicle stopped and the occupants fled into a nearby field.

Police are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance. If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are being asked to contact the Brant County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
