Officers on general patrol observed a vehicle driving erratic in the area of St Vincent and Grove St, The officer activated his roof lights and the vehicle drove another 100 metres and pulled into a driveway. The officer approached the vehicle and observed that the 38 year old female was very intoxicated. The officer arrested the female for impaired driving. The female complained that she should not have been arrested because she had made it to her driveway. The female was transported to the station and provided two breath samples with readings well over double the legal limit. The female was held until sober then released with a future court date.
