A resident of Michael Cr. attended the police station on Monday morning advising that his vehicle had been entered overnight. He was accompanied by a 15 year old male who claimed to have witnessed the incident. The investigating officer interviewed the youth who placed the blame on another youth. The officer then discovered that this information was in fact a lie as the other youth was out of town with his father. The officer confronted the youth, who then admitted that he had stolen a wallet and cash from the victim’s vehicle. The accused youth further admitted to the theft of two pocket motorcycles from a garage on Livingstone St. E. overnight. One of the bikes and cash has been recovered while the second suspect and bike is still outstanding. The 15 year old was charged with public mischief and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.00, he was released by way of a promise to appear and undertaking.
