(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – A single vehicle collision has led to the arrest of the driver for alcohol related offences.
On August 29, 2014 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a single vehicle rollover on Highway 35 near Highway 7A. Officers on scene determined that the driver, who was transported to a local hospital, had been consuming alcohol.
As a result of the ensuing investigation, Darell MCINTYRE, 59 years of age, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving and driving while having more than 80mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood contrary to the Criminal Code.
The accused will appear in court, in Lindsay, on September 25, 2014.
