(Municipality of Trent Lakes, ON) – On Sunday August 31, members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate a report of a disturbance at the Kinmount Fair on Reid Street in the Village of Kinmount.
Several adults at the Kinmount Fair were involved in an altercation with Fair grounds Staff in the early morning hours. As a result a staff member attempted to apprehend one of the parties for a Theft at which time the security guard was assaulted.
OPP conducted an investigation and as a result three parties were arrested and charged with various criminal offences.
Charged are:
1)18 year old Michael HALL of Fenelon Falls, charged with Assault, Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
2) 18 year old Tristan LONGFIELD of Bobcaygeon, charged with Theft Under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
3) 18 year old Kristen PARRO of Bexley Township, charged with Assault, Theft under $5000 and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
All three accused were released from custody with a future court date of 23 October 2014 to appear in Peterborough Courts to answer to their charges.
