(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 36 year old male after police located a stolen vehicle at a Robinson Street, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, August 28, 2014 at approximately 10:28 a.m., members of the Norfolk County OPP Street Crime Unit were on patrol when a suspicious vehicle drew the attention of the officers.
Through investigation it has been determined that the vehicle had been previously reported stolen to police. A male was observed entering the vehicle and was subsequently taken into custody without incident.
Charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, is 36 year old Jason William John BALCOMB of Norfolk County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charge.
